• What’s involved with this role:

An excellent people manager with strong ICT experience is required to lead one of the client's Applications Support teams. This team supports a wide portfolio of systems across a range of the council's most critical services (including social care and parking).

Your CV will need to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of two or more of the client's software platforms [see below] and an awareness of further configurations. You will also need to show a good knowledge of two or more system software products which are used by the organisation. The role requires that you have a thorough understanding of the system interfaces, plus a good understanding of the organisation’s business processes and their degree of dependence on information systems

1. Academy Housing Benefits
UNIform
Strand Electoral Registration
Respond Complaints System

2. Parking
TALIS Libraries System
Symology System
Cyborg Payroll
Education systems

3. SX3 Housing
Corelogic Framework
HICS Housing System

4. Anite EDMS system

5. Oracle e-Business suite, including:
• Financials (including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Cash Manager)
• HRMS
• Payroll
• iProcurement
• Discoverer

IMPORTANT notes:

1) At the risk of stating the obvious, our clients are looking for CVs that match the “Essentials” listed below.

• “Essentials” for inclusion within on your CV: Give yourself the best chance of getting appointed by ensuring that your CV shows the following PROMINENTLY:

- minimum of 2 years demonstrable experience in leading an ICT support delivery team within a large organisation
- Your CV will need to demonstrate familiarity with at least 1 of the client's key systems groupings above.

• Other useful, but non-essential, details to include on your CV, if applicable:

- any local authority or other public sector experience
- any relevant qualifications held or being studied for

• Hours per week: 36, Monday – Friday, normal working hours
