Full Description:

Based in East Grinstead (West Sussex), this market leading organisation is looking for a Financial Accountant to join the finance team. Reporting to the Chief Accountant the job holder will manage the Head Office accounts function to include contact third party suppliers, other European accounts departments and Head Office departments. There will be some involvement with parent company staff in USA. Duties will be varied to include the assistance in preparing year end information for the auditors; assistance in cost forecasts; assist in monthly and month end processes and reconciliations; balance sheet reconciliations; assistance in VAT return preparation; intercompany reconciliations and preparation of invoices and statements. Applicants will have experience of working in a hands-on role with experience of working to deadlines, intercompany reconciliations and exposure to consolidations. This is a contract to permanent opportunity with the initial contract being six months.
