Deputy Manager
We are working with a busy Nursery in Chichester that requires an enthusiastic, energetic Deputy Manager to work closely alongside the Manager and to contribute to the ongoing development and success of the Nursery.
The successful applicant will have previous management experience, either in a Deputy or Room Leader capacity, with a good understanding of how to manage staff and develop excellent relationships with parents as well as a very good understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
You will have the opportunity to take over the running of the Nursery in the Manager's absence, and so must be confident when dealing with a wide range of every day situations.
You will have the opportunity to be involved with staff retention and recruitment, budgeting and marketing.

A Level 4 qualification in childcare is desirable but not essential for this role.
Your responsibilities as a Deputy Manager will include:
To maintain and promote high standards of care
To effectively lead and motivate the staff team including recruitment and retention
To ensure all policies are implemented and adhered to at all times
To work in partnership with the parents
You will need the following training and experience:
An NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3, or equivalent qualification
Knowledge of the EYFS
Knowledge of OFSTED standards
Excellent communication skills
Strong people management skills
